Nairobi, Kenya. Taken during my first few days in Nairobi wandering colorful market centers standing out like a fish out of water.

Shirazi, Kenya. My last week abroad was spent in the small coastal village of Shirazi. This is a small community heavily revolving around fishing and agricultural practices. The majority of the homes here were hand crafted with dirt floors with no running water or electricity.

Another beach friend, this man worked and squatted on the beach. He was able to live in the now with no concerns about future plans or ideas, this man lived in a community of vagabonds survivors.

Taken at the Kibera School for Girls. Kibera is the second largest slum throughout Africa home to upwards of two million individuals. Life changing experience to see what many individuals are born into.

Close friend of mine Eddie Balo, this man worked as our translator for day-to-day activities.
